3/2/2009 - C-Section has been moved to today!!!
Carrie woke up around 4 am having some contractions that were not intense but happening about every 3-4 minutes for a good 30 minutes. She called the exchange around 6:15 a.m. and they said to take it easy and keep her appt. this afternoon with the doctor. So Carrie went ahead to work but got a call from Dr. Moore saying that they do not want to risk it so they are moving the c-section to today around noon or 1 p.m. Yipeee.. it is about time the "trio" makes their entrance! Thanks to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and gifts. I will keep you posted.

2/20/09 - Friday Night Family Night
We had a great and relaxing "Friday night family night". After dinner we relaxed together as a family and watched America's Funniest Home Videos! We did a lot of laughing. Well it's been a long day for the "trio" so we are off to bed! Good Night!!!
2/18/09 -Appointment with Dr. Sue Moore
Dr. Moore is pleased with how the babies are growing and how well I am holding up. She gave me a "you go girl". She is scheduling the c-section date for March 4th at 11:15 a.m. (2 weeks HOLY COW!) I am still able to work full time but will monitor my blood pressure twice daily. I will have monitoring twice a week and see Dr. Moore once a week the rest of the way. No more ultrasounds are scheduled so the next time we will see these babies will be when they are delivered. Stay tuned!!!!!
2/14/09 - Valentine's Day (31 Weeks and 6 days)
I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day with Aaron, the kids and my Parents but lost my cervical plug around 7:30 p.m. The doctor thought it was best if i came to the hospital and check everything out. So we grabbed a bag just in case and headed to the hospital. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Wilson for watching the kids!!!! Blood pressure was good and the babies did well on the monitoring. They ran some blood work and tested for protein(sign of pre-eclamsia). They found a trace of protein but everything else was great so I was released on Modified bed-rest. The doctor said all that means is not a lot of mall walking. I told her that i wouldn't be doing that anytime soon :) Planning on resting tomorrow and back to work on Monday.

2/11/09 - Appointment with Dr. Sue Moore (31 Weeks and 3 days)
My blood pressure was 128/88 this time..... yeah! Dr. Moore was very encouraged how things were going with the babies growth. Had my second steroid shot and wants me to continue to rest and monitor my blood pressure.
2/10/09 - Ultrasound and Monitoring
The ultrasound went well. Here are the weights and heart beats for the babies:
Evan – 3 lbs and 8 oz. (8 oz. gain in 3 weeks) heart beat 144, could see some hair
Ryan – 4 lbs. and 7 oz. (13 oz. gain in 3 weeks) Wow! heart beat 144, the doctor said Ryan looks like he has a lot of hair from the ultrasound picture.
Rachel – 3 lbs, and 14 oz. (10 oz. gain in 3 weeks) heart beat 153, could see a little hair
The doctor was pleased with the how the babies are progressing. My blood pressure was 139/70 and the monitoring went well. I had my first round of steroid shots in order to help the babies lung development. Started to have mild contractions over the weekend. They saw three contractions during my monitoring session.

1/20/2009 Doctor's appt.
Doctor’s appointment went well. Here are the weights and heart beats for the babies:
Evan – 3 lbs. (heart beat 141)
Ryan – 3 lbs. and 10 oz. (seemed like a huge jump in weight, but the doctor said it was hard to get accurate measurements) (heart beat 144)
Rachel – 3 lbs, and 4 oz. (heart beat 156)
All had good growth, more than what we expected…wow it’s getting harder to get around!
Now I have to start going in weekly for monitoring. The doctor that saw me today thought it wouldn’t be unusual to have these babies in the next 3 weeks…Yikes!

1/14/09 – Appointment with Dr. Sue Moore (28 weeks and 3 days)
Had an ultrasound in the doctor’s office and the babies were moving all around and everyone looked to be doing well. My blood pressure was 120/80, which is a little higher than normal for me, but still really good. Dr. Moore said at this point in my pregnancy is when I should continue to hope my blood pressure stays lower because it’s so common for blood pressures to rise with high risk multiples, which could cause pre-term labor. I put on 2 lbs. since my last doctor’s office visit 3 weeks ago and a total of 22 lbs. for the pregnancy, which the doctor was very pleased. I continue to work full time and seem to be doing well. I have a lot of the same symptoms that I had with Matt and Lauren’s pregnancies; however the symptoms seem to be amplified! The one symptom I have struggled with is the numbness and pain in my hands and arms. I wear wrist bands that have helped a great deal.
We are very thankful for all the prayers from so many friends and family members! We still are praying I can continue to carry these babies until 36 weeks!

12/30/08 - Appointment at the Hospital (26 weeks and 1 day)
Had ultrasounds on the babies and they all continue to look very good. The weights of the babies were as follows:
o Baby boy # 1 – weighed 2.0 lbs.
o Baby boy # 2 – weighed 2 lbs. 2 oz.
o Baby girl # 3 – weighed 2 lbs. 5 oz.
My cervix continues to look good and they are hopeful it will withstand the weight of the babies. The doctors are very pleased with my progress since they thought I would be on bed-rest by week 20 and thought I wouldn’t be able to keep working full time, which I’m still able to continue, so we are blessed in so many ways!

Had a quick ultrasound in Dr. Moore’s office and the babies looked great; blood pressure and weight was all good. I took the glucose test and passed it fine…yeah!!
